Tsatsiki with camelina oil

This characteristic Greek salad is made truly exotic by the somewhat sharp tasting sumac, the mint and the camelina oil. It is quick and easy to make and can be an excellent match with grilled meats as well as a real treat with a simple toasted pita.

Production

01

Grate and salt the cucumbers, then let them drain. Squeeze out the moisture.

Blend the Greek yoghurt with the feta cheese and the camelina oil until creamy.

Finely snip the mint leaves and mix them together with the grated garlic into the sauce.

Mix in the sauce with the grated cucumbers and cool it well.

Tip:

To serve, sprinkle the salad with some sumac and garnish it with mint leaves.
Sumac is available in Arab shops or in special delis.
