This recipe is a real curiosity to perk up the buffet table. The baked dates wrapped in bacon taste simply divine with the walnut oil-roquefort dip. Its preparation is a piece of cake, taking just a few minutes.
Buy pitted dates if possible. If you can only get them whole, cut them lengthwise and remove the pits.
Cut the bacon slices in half lengthwise. Wrap the dates into the bacon slices and place them on a tin lined with baking paper. Bake them in an oven at 180 °C for about 10-13 minutes until the bacon gets browned.
In the meantime, put the cheese, the yoghurt, the pepper, a pinch of salt and the walnut oil in a kitchen chopper and blend it until creamy. To finish, mix in the snipped chives.
