Blue grape jelly with chia seeds recipe

This grape jelly is a real curiosity of the harvest time. What makes the blue grapes jellified with chia seeds truly exquisite is the sour cherry balsamico. Portioned in small jars, it is an excellent gastro gift.

Production

01

Wash and blend the grapes and then drain it through a sieve since you will need only the juice.

02

Peel an apple and cut it into small cubes.

03

Bring the apple and the grape juice to a boil, together with the sugar and the vanilla powder.

04

When the apple has softened, blend it. Without allowing it to cool, add the sour cherry balsamico and mix in the chia seeds.

05

Stir the mixture continuously for 2-3 minutes. The chia seeds will absorb the moisture and become jellified.

06

Pour the jelly in 2-3 sterilized glass jars. Close the jars and then turn them upside down. Cool them at room temperature.

Tip:

This jelly is excellent as a dessert but it can be offered also as a starter specialty when combined with cheeses.
